Ibrahim, the only child of his father's third wife, is sent from his home in Zaria, in the north, to finish his schooling in Lagos, in the south. While staying with his father's friend there, he meets Sisi, their shy and awkward adopted daughter. There is a terrible misunderstanding over an innocent picture. Ibrahim is thrown out and forbidden to see Sisi. Is their blossoming love doomed, especially when Ibrahim returns to the north?
