About the Novel:
Country-bred Mbatha and Rabeka are childhood sweethearts and seem destined for each other. Illness takes Rabeka to hospital in Nairobi and while she is recuperating she meets the sophisticated Mawa. This meeting has dramatic consequences for them all.
