About the novel:
Osifo Egie and Ndidi Amengo meet briefly as teenagers through family friendship. But they do not like each other and their lives are going in very different directions. Ndidi is a wealthy background and is about to leave for England to study. Osifo has not completed his education and is soon to start work as a clerk. By the time fate brings them together again each of them has experienced as a great deal. But it seems at first that the unhappiness they both have suffered may keep them apart.

About the author: Helen Aiyeohusa Ovbiagele was born in Benin City, She attended C.M.S. Girls' School, Benin City; St. Peter's College, Kaduna; and the College of Education of the University of Lagos where she read English/French. After graduation she taught at the Lagos City College and then at Corona School, Ikoyi Lagos. Later, she did a bilingual secretarial course at the Institut Francais du Royaume Uni in South Kensington, London. She also wrote Evbu My Love.
